Donate to Luray Zoo, A Rescue Zoo

Luray Zoo is a privately owned facility that receives no type of government funding. The income that helps run the zoo is gift shop sales, admission, and donations. On average each year Luray Zoo spends more than $100,000 dollars on bedding, shavings for the animals, food, heating, building repairs, vet bills, electricity cost, staff salary and much more. The money you donate helps all the animals of Luray Zoo.

Any outside children toys such as slides, playhouse, plastic climbing wall etc. Any baby like hard plastic toys (NO BATTERY COMPARTMENTS). Hard balls, plastic outside toy trucks etc. If you want to find out if the zoo can use a toy you wish to donate for the animals call us at 540-743-4113. 

Zoo uses a wide array of cleaning products, here is a list of the ones we use the most:

We do most of the animal food purchasing and cleaning supplies at Costco and Sams Club We purchase most building supplies from Lowes and Home Depot.
